Defensively, actions are very athletic with considerable range and area quickness evident. Ball is fielded from bottom up and out front with soft, confident hands. Advanced arm strength is present. Overall skill set suggests development into above average left side of infield defender.
Offensively, initiates swing from open set up with stride to neutral. Separation is compromised by low, passive back elbow in load. Through is tendency to reach with stride leg with associated early locking and limited weight shift. An uphill swing path is present. Hands are very quick. A bat exit velocity of 80 mph was recorded.
On mound Snyder works out of a high 3/4 arm slot. There is substantial arm quickness. FB sits 76-77 with arm side run. CB at 64-66 was inconsistent. CH at 65-67 is a solid secondary offering with late sink and fade. It is thrown with good sell and at FB arm speed. Mechanically there is tendency to lean back while reaching with stride leg. Benefit would be gained from maintaining posture throughout delivery.
