10/28/17 6-foot-2, 195-pound primary pitcher has a mature frame. Webb has made a significant jump in velocity since we last saw him in August at the Fall Kickoff Showcase. On that date Webb sat 82-84. Two months later, Webb sat 86-88 while bumping 89 mph. While the fastball is relatively straight he does create some angles with a bit of crossfire action from a high 3/4 arm slot. Curveball at 68-69 showed tight, 12/6 rotation. Also commanded a cutter at 72-74 and a changeup at 73-76 in his four-pitch mix. The two-way prospect ran a 7.27 60-yard dash and flashed 88 mph arm strength from the outfield. The left-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Stays inside the baseball well and showed an above average feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. Webb has since been added to the Team Pennsylvania roster as a right-handed pitcher for the 2018 PBR Future Games.

Comments
8/17/17 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-hander worked solely out of the stretch sitting 82-84 from a low 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm and above average command of his fastball. Also showcased a 70 mph changeup with similar arm speed and a cutter at 72-73 with short, late movement. Curveball at 67-68 displayed flat break through the zone from the low arm slot and is likely a pitch that will need to be changed to a slider in the future. Physical frame with repeatable delivery makes Webb a righty to follow in this class.
