He takes a short path to the baseball and flashes solid bat speed, while he spins a bit, which doesn't allow his barrel to stay in the zone as long as it could. 75 mph exit velocity was down from the 80 mph he has shown previously. Defensively, he exhibited a solid glove hand and good fielding position that allowed him to incorporate a one-shuffle release on his 72 mph arm strength.

Demonstrated quick hands and a strong lower half with the ability to stay behind the baseball. Displayed a solid feel for the barrel and a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Rupp ran a 7.01 60-yard dash and showcased confidence in his glove hand while playing through the baseball routinely. Showed athletic actions in making the slow roller play and accurate 75 mph arm strength across the diamond.
