Physically: 5’10 170 lb C/ 1B ran a 7.18 laser timed 60-yard dash. Young frame has time to develop more size and strength.
Offensively: Starts with a wide base and some simple hand waggle. He uses a small leg kick as a timing mechanism. The hands load in a rocking motion and continue the momentum into the pitch. Shows ability to cover different pitches around the zone.
Defensively: Receives from a 1KD, new school stance, and sticks pitches with a slight upward glove path. He moves to a traditional squatted stance when throwing to bases. He uses a quick jump turn to get squared up before making short and quick throws to bases.
