Physical: 5-9, 175 pounds; Muscular, slight build. 7.1 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Lifts hands with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while showing active feet. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82 MPH.
Pitching: Uses an arm side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Short take back while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 85 MPH, while sitting 82-83 MPH; arm side run. SL: 72-74 MPH; tilting break.
Physical: Compact, athletic 5-foot-9, 165lb frame. 7.20 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Square, shoulder-width stance with some hip-coil, as the hands work loosely by the ear. Utilized a directional lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone. Liked to create torque and get extended on pitches over the plate with an aggressive lower-half. Produced flush contact to the pull-side at 85 mph exit velocity and 309 feet via Trackman.
Defensively: The middle infielder operated cleanly to his glove-hand side, settling down with adequate posture and accurate hands. Fielded off the middle of his body and delivered a strong 80 mph throw from H ¾ slot.
Pitching: RHP. Starts from the left side; some rotational aspects to the delivery, well-sequenced into footstrike with a lower ¾ release. Fast arm that worked 78-80 mostly, T81 mph (2156) with hard run, mixing a 68-71 mph SL with feel to spin. Added killed mid-70’s CH at a 33% zone rate.
