Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are off to the side while funneling to the hip before transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 85 MPH. Athletic movements to the baseball, 85mph from the OF.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Pitching: LHP - Full delivery off the middle of the rubber; stayed on the backside well, good weight transfer into front side; repeatable slot and 78-80, T81 mph FB. Mixed 67-69 mph SL across the plate and big fade on 70-73 mph CH.

Pitching: Kensinger uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing without restrictions, while working through a high 3/4 slot. Recoils with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 78-80 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 68-70 MPH; lands for strikes. CH: 71-73 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Compact 5-foot-9, 187-pound frame with plenty of lower half strength. 7.56 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Narrow, wide open stance from a slight bent position as the hands waved over the head with rhythm. Utilized a deliberate lift and replace stride coupled with a move back to the shoulder for launch in order to initiate the barrel through a flat path in the hitting zone. Demonstrated some sink into the lower half allowing for explosive rotational power at times, recorded a peak batted ball distance of 300 feet per Trackman Baseball and a bat-exit velocity of 86 mph pointing towards usable power in the box. A 36% line drive rate should allow the ability to hit for average as well, while a 24.70 mph hand speed according to Blast Motion is a good sign he can handle velocity down the line.
Defensively: The outfielder approached the ball with intent to play downhill over the toes while fielding off of the right foot with a soft glove hand. Got the shoulders in line, had no issues with the transfer, and let it rip with accuracy on the plate (75 mph OF arm).
Pitching: LHP - Started from the middle-right side of the rubber with a small side rocker step, traditional leg lift at belly button height with the knee, easy / repeatable mechanics while landing in-line towards the plate. High ¾ release and pounded the zone with a 75-77 mph FB (75% zone rate per Trackman Baseball). Dropped in a developing 1/7 shaped, 60-61 mph CB with a max of 9 inches of HM as well as -4 inches of depth. A 65-67 mph CH was good (13.2 inches of HM to the arm side) and created deception at the plate on occasion.
