Offensively: RHH. Feet being slightly wider that shoulder width. Has some rock and rhythm as the body prepares the load. Hands begin next to ear and work back during the load. Barrel turns into the hitting zone as it begins the attack on the baseball. Weight transfers onto the rear leg as the lead leg strides towards the pitcher. High finish.
Defensively: Primary 1B. Maintains athleticism and bend in the knees throughout the fielding process. Funnels ground ball to belt line. Stays under control during the exchange process and does not rush.
Pitching: RHP. Rocker step works to the 1B side of the mound then into a high leg lift to chest. The high leg lift is deliberate and only has slight bend in the left leg. Hands begin at belt line and gradually work up. On glove break hand goes down and back. Arm slows down slightly prior to the forward move. High 3/4 release point and tight glove side.

Physical: 6-foot-0, 190 pounds; Strong, long frame. 7.45 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Upright stance with an even base; Turns the front foot in on a toe tap and strides out even. Aggressive with flat path to the point of contact working uphill after contact. Hard pull side contact; peak Trackman exit velocity of 89 MPH. Defensively: Even base with some bend at the waist; Gets low with the ball. Fields the ball out in front in the middle of his body; Short arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.
2/29/20
Showcased quality feel for an advanced 6-foot, 180-pound frame with noticeable physicality. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Displayed natural lift to the pull side while hitting behind the baseball and into a soft front side. Showed off feel for the hands during batting practice while recording a loud 88 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. The primary first baseman featured an adequate feel around the bag with a low center of gravity and soft glove hand working plus and minus through the baseball. Demonstrated occasional inside turns during double plays allowing for precise footwork and quick transfers. Registered an accurate 73 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a high ¾ arm-slot. The right-handed pitcher sat 75-77 mph out of a high ¾ arm-slot with advanced lower half drive towards the plate. Mixed in a 63-65 mph curveball flashing 11/5 shape and countered with a solid 70-72 mph changeup showing small arm-side run while being thrown with advanced sell.
1/14/18
Defensively, OF would benefit from attacking and playing through ball on ground as well as following throws.
Offensively, Swing is initiated from slightly open set up with stride to neutral. Marrs drops hands to slot which along with significant arm bar creates an uphill path and length. There is an aggressive weight shift, and hip turn with considerable hand quickness. A bat exit velocity of 77 mph was recorded.
