75.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: Longer 6-foot-1, 175lb frame with arms/legs dominating build. RTF.
Pitching: RHP - Mound presence off the middle of the rubber; stretch only from a higher leg lift and hip/shoulder separation down the slope. Stays balanced and connects to the backside before whipping arm forward at a H ¾ slot. FB landed 83-85, T86 mph on this date with a feel to pitch to both sides of the plate. Tacked on moderate two-plane breaker in the 68-70 mph range and complemented with advanced 71-72 mph SL as strikeout offering (lateral tilt).
2/27/22
Physical: Projectable, strong 6-foot-1, 175lb with presence on the mound.
Pitching: RHP - Operated from the stretch-only off of the middle of the rubber. High leg lift with plenty of pace into a drop and drive delivery. Quick arm from a compact H ¾ slot, landing an 83-85 mph FB for strikes with repeated actions. Mixed a sharp, two-plane 65-67 mph breaker flashing hard downer tilt and displayed some command on a fading 77-79 mph CH to finish out the repertoire. A fast-rising arm to know in the class.
7/15/20
Physical: Long and lean 6-foot, 155-pound frame with projectability in the build. 7.39 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Bent, slightly open stance with the hands started above the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path with length into the hitting zone. Liked to get the arms extended while showing good direction in the lower half, crushed the ball out over the plate with whip in the bat head through impact, generated plenty of loft during batting practice with a feel for the middle of the field. 33 % line drive rate / recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 86 mph per Trackman Baseball / 293 feet maximum batted ball distance.
Defensively: The primary shortstop showed off long, rangy actions in the middle with a medium-low center of gravity in the approach. Fielded the ball off of the left side of the body with ability to beat the ball to the spot / advanced instincts from the left side during defensive evaluations. Quick pace with a ¾ slot out of a quick release across the diamond with accuracy on the bag. INF - 74 mph
Pitching: RHP - Side rocker step with a high leg lift, gets directional and out over the front side upon footstrike with repeatable lower half drive, high ¾ slot with a moderate arm circle. FB ranged from 74-76 mph with command in the zone, mixed in a 63-65 mph CB with 11/5 tilt and short break, countered with a low spin 65-67 mph CH with adequate sell on the release.
2/16/20
5-foot-11, 145-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a controlled leg-lift stride to begin. Showcased balance throughout with a line drive approach and a direct swing path. Registered a bat exit velocity of 77 mph and ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Displayed active feet and played through the baseball routinely defensively with accurate 75 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 74-75 out of a repeatable high 3/4 delivery on the mound. Also showed a curveball at 60-61 with 11/5 shape and a straight changeup at 70-72.
10/19/19
5-foot-9, 135-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Displayed quick hands and limited lower half action with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 71 mph and ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Displayed sound fundamentals defensively while routinely playing through the baseball with 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. The two-way prospect sat 74-76 out of a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound working solely out of the stretch. Also showcased a curveball at 57-58 with 11/5 rotation, a changeup with some late downward action at 67-71 and a slider with short cut at 59-61.
