6-foot-2, 185-pound left-handed hitter with an athletic, projectable frame. Starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a simple heel-raise stride. Displayed balance throughout with quick hands and present power to the pull side. Registered a 91 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 6.68 60-yard dash. Played through the baseball consistently defensively with good carry on throws of 88 mph.

6-foot-2, 175-pound left-handed hitter begins from a square stance and initiates his swing with a heel-raise stride. Displayed a line drive approach with a flat barrel path through the zone while registering a bat exit velocity of 88 mph. Ran an event best 6.87 60-yard dash and showcased athletic actions defensively. Plays through the baseball routinely in the outfield and showed accurate 83 mph arm strength to home plate. Long frame has room to add additional strength in coming years with a chance to develop some power. Showed good ball tracking skills during game action in a first look during high school action this spring.
5/05/18
The 6-foot-2 center fielder catches the eye with his lanky, undeveloped frame. There is room on both halves to add strength and bolster the physical profile. Gibble's offensive approach had some polish, as he was patient and willing to work counts, as evidenced by his two walks during the game. He stands even in the box with loose hands working up by the shoulders. There's a heel raise that starts the swing. At times, Gibble transferred weight to back foot too early, throwing off timing. Repetition and natural development should help refine this area. He reached base on an infield single on top of the walks, and went home-to-first in 4.51 seconds. With two steals on his stat line as well, Gibble was productive offensively for the Bulldogs. Defensively, the base tools are there to stick in center. Unfortunately, lost the ball in the sun late that allowed a run, but ran a smooth, easy route into position. A potential under-the-radar guy to keep tabs on.
