6/12/18 Defensively, hands are adequate and feet work well around bag. Flashes above average athleticism at first base.
Offensively, initiates swing from neutral set up with short stride staying neutral. Demonstrates solid hip turn and leverage while staying behind the baseball. Shows ability to get bat on plane early and maintain late in the hitting zone. There is balance and rhythm to swing. Passive weight shift reduces separation. A 78 mph bat exit velocity was registered.
On the mound, works out of a mid 3/4 arm slot with balance and rhythm to a repeatable delivery. Arm action is loose. FB was true at 73 mph. CB sat 54-57 with 11-5 shae and rolling actin. CH at 60-64 was commanded with reasonable sell and subtle arm side fade. Benefit would be gained from concerted effort to stay behind fastball.
