6-foot-2, 180 pounds with a workhouse type frame. Already had some physical maturation to his frame but should be able to handle more size, especially in his upper half. Pitches with consistent tempo and stater-type effort. Tall, athletic posture at leg lift then gets into a drop-and-drive motion with his backside. Creates slight uphill tilt with shoulders at hand break but gets level at landing. Landing foot gets down with direction towards target and allows hips to open up early while he keeps front side closed. Clean, fluid arm path into high ¾ release. Shows intent late with aggressive finish out front but has enough strength to remain balanced and stay behind the baseball. FB shows steep downhill plane with life thru the zone. 2233rpm avg spin rate. Topped at 84 and should grow into more velocity by the time he takes the mound again in 2021. Worked to find consistent feel for CB/CH on this look but when thrown at their best, they give him a promising 3-pitch mix.
