2022 Garrett College commit was another Titans player to show well at Scout Day, displaying his strength throughout the day from his 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame. There was some thump from the right-side during his batting practice but he impressed most in the outfield where he was up to 82 mph later in the evening in cold temperatures. The arm looked good out there tonight and with Slocum being a two-way guy, it will be interesting to see him take the mound this week. Can’t forget to mention he also ran a 7.01 60-time.

Slocum, a strong 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher showcased his stuff on scout day. He was 72-74, maxing out at 77 mph on the mound. He’s primarily a fastball pitcher but utilized two off-speed offerings. He’s a 2021 arm with upside as it’s a sturdy build with more velo in the tank.
