The middle infielder made an unreal play at shortstop, going to his left, laying out and getting up to fire a strike to first to nail the runner. There is obvious confidence on the dirt with the glove as the actions are smooth and he shows signs of an internal clock. At the plate, it’s a left-handed swing, works short to ball with some down angel looks early on. He did the small things and was a standout on the defensive side of the ball in week 1.
