Travel Team: Grand river flying squirrels
Querengesser, a 5-foot-9, 160-pound infielder, is a member of the Grand River Flying Squirrels. Left-handed hitter, it’s a clean stroke with looseness through the zone. He was up to 80 mph at the exit velocity station, and due to how free the swing is and room for physical development, there’s lots of room for improvement. The actions in the infield were athletic and clean, showing the ability to throw on the run from multiple spots.
3/30/19
Querengesser, a 5-foot-7, 135-pound 2021 grad for the Kitchener Panthers was an attendee of the Future Game Trials. At the plate, the hands work free and easy through the zone; it’s a flat, line-drive focused swing with a 76 EV. The actions in the infield are impressive, he covers ground, and his feet work well with an adaptable arm slot. Querengesser is an infielder with some upside in the Panthers program.
