Khalilieh, a 5-foot-11, 145-pound arm, is a member of the Fieldhouse Pirates. The righty works from a high 3/4 slot, get’s extension out front, and lands in-line towards the plate. He sat 76-78, T80 with some arm-side run. He showed some feel for his secondary offerings. Arm to follow in the 2022 class.
2/09/20
Khalilieh has been an arm to watch for a bit now; however he showed well on both sides of the ball. Its an aggressive right handed swing designed to hit balls far in the air, Khalilieh recorded a personal best exit velocity while showing off his low 80s arm in the OF. On the mound, Khalilieh sat in the upper 70s but it was the whole showing that was impressive. He commanded 3 pitches well, including a revamped breaking ball that stays on plane long and has some late bite.
2.19.18 A young and lanky 2021 classman, Ryan has a loose arm and a projectable frame with room to fill out and add strength as he develops. Works from a ¾ slot, average arm speed, sound fundamentally with an easy and short delivery. Worked down in the zone for the most part, fastball sat 72-74 mph with some sink. Slows his torque down during his offspeed stuff, but shows good feel for his secondary pitches. Curveball has good vertical depth and a 12/6 shape, while the changeup velocity is a tad high, but Ryan is able to keep it down in the zone. Still very young, Ryan has a projectable build, but could become a guy to watch in the coming years as he fills out and continues to grow.
