Arnold was a player to watch heading into workout day and put together some good numbers across the board with a 7.07 60-yard (3.88 30-yard), up to 91mph from the outfield and peak exit velocity of 93.2mph. Starting with 1-1 counts, there was some swing/miss there early on but made adjustments as the day went on and put together some good ABs to close out the day. Garnered some interest from coaches in attendance and worth a look this summer from two or four-year schools.
2/19/24
2025 OF/SS Max Arnold is another name out of Sudbury who’s had a good offseason. 5-foot-10, 165-pounds and is moving with more aggression in all areas of his game. Generated a peak exit velocity of 88.3mph and distance of 291ft. Was also up to 84mph across the diamond. Good first showing from Arnold and will be a name for college coaches to follow in Sudbury over the next year and a half.
2/18/22
A young 2025 from the Sudbury Voyageurs program. Still small and has plenty of maturation to come but Arnold does a lot of things right on the field. Impressed on the infield with good footwork and fielded the ball well on both sides. Plays through the ball with throws across the diamond at 70mph. Quiet setup from the right-side with a quick bat through the zone. Gap-to-gap right now but his overall game should continue to elevate as he matures and adds strength.
