Connors, a left-handed hitting catcher, is a 2022 grad for the Ontario Athletics. At the plate, he starts with his hands relaxed and low, loads back with his barrel, and begins his flat plane early. He looks to line the ball around the field, and he has been up to 65 mph on the EV station. With strength addition and barrel adjustments, he will be able to generate move velocity towards the baseball. Behind the plate, Connors transfers the ball well, and get’s his throws off reasonably quickly, he has been in the 2.40-2.57 range, and with improved arm strength, his times will increase drastically. Still a freshman in high school, Connors has lots of development to come, and lots of time to improve his overall game.
