6-foot-3, 180-pound pitcher with big, stocky build. At the plate Kennedy drives the ball well, swing is very raw but has some clear power to the pull side, even though he has minimal use of the lower half. Defensively starts on his heels, slow first step, but makes the plays. On the mound he was up to 76 mph from the right side, points the arm straight down, hooks the ball and darts it. Found the zone consistently with his off-speed. Kennedy has another year of high school left that will do him good. He’s got the body, the frame and the broad shoulders, and has the making of a solid arm on the bump.
