Another long and lean 2022, King has all the makings of a corner infielder who can hit. An 89 exit velo from the left side with a balanced swing, 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame and some arm strength across the diamond gives King a chance to be super projectable on the diamond. From a performance standpoint King didn’t flash big numbers, but the actions and feel is there.

6-foot-1, 153-pound first-baseman/pitcher. Still stance in the box, feet spread apart. Direct to the baseball, uses the whole field. 76 mph exit velocity. He was 68 mph from third-base, and on the mound was up to 71 mph. He mixed in off-speed offerings in the mid-’60s as well. An interesting player to follow going forward.
