A good watch over the next few months as we see what he does throughout the summer and into the fall. High Academics play a major role with Williston to allow for multiple options and avenues.

From the right-side, Williston leans back to start, before coming forward and generating an exit velocity of 77. He demonstrates barrel control, showing the ability to make hard contact often on pitches all around the plate. Behind the plate, Williston ranged around 2.09-2.27, displaying some quickness before unleashing a 70 mph throwing velocity. Williston shows ability on both sides of the field, and as he physically matures, he will be an interesting catcher to watch in his class.
