A very young 2022 classman who certainly passes the eye test, Muir is a 6-foot-1, 150-pound right-hander with a projectable frame and plenty of room and time to continue to get stronger as he matures. High ¾ arm slot with clean actions, stride length needs to increase, but overall Muir shows a good feel for pitching. Fastball tops out at 71 mph with some natural cut, but Muir must focus on staying on top of the ball to keep it down in the zone. Can spin a curveball with 11/5 shape at 62-64 mph. Pitch comes out from the same arm slot at similar arm speed. Changeup has some fading action at 64-65 mph. Overall, Muir is a very young yet projectable right-hander who is in the early stages of his development. As he continues to mature and get stronger, there is a lot to be excited about from this 2022 grad.
