2023 RHP/SS Charlie Hughes attended the New Year Open as a pitcher-only and immediately catches your eye on the mound with a long, lanky frame at 6-foo-4, 180-pounds with tons of room to add strength. The right-handed pitcher sat 77-78mph with the fastball from a minimal effort delivery that gets downhill with relative ease. Also flashed a curveball and changeup. Also has flashed upside on the positional side and his overall game will only get better with more physicality.
