The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
7.35
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
82.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
12.2
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Slider
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Slider
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The athlete's fastest 0-10-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
1.88
30 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-30-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
4.16
60 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
7.29
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Carter Kipp: 3B/SS, (2024) Notre Dame College School, ON. 6-foot, 180-pound mature strong frame. Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 90 mph. (71.5 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a tight compact load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was explosive, had a short upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Pull side approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 78 mph; showed soft hands, athletic smooth feet, and a clean natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot and a short loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 7.29 in the 60-yard dash.
Exit Velocity: 90 mph
Arm Velocity: 78 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.29

2025 3B/SS Carter Kipp looked the part with a projectable 5-foot-11, 160-pound high-waisted frame and put up some of the better numbers we saw on the day. The Bullettproof product works with a line drive approach from the right-side and posted some loud swings when he caught the barrel. Top exit velocity of 87mph. Has potential on the infield, as well, where he uses good footwork with a clean arm across the infield at 70mph. Interesting one to follow here as he develops.
