2021 second-baseman, Benson is an interesting player for the Barrie Baycats. Comfortable stance in box, sits back, pull-side power when extended. Lots to like about him offensively, with minor adjustments should continue to advance. He moved with ease in the outfield, got behind the ball, used his body well to generate arm strength on throws. Frame projects on the mound, down-hill angle, H ¾ slot. Plenty of upside for Benson on both ends of the ball.
