Tall, athletic frame, listed at 6-foot-1, 171-pounds, Spunde is a member of the Grand River Flying Squirrels. A projectable body, his frame will allow him to carry more weight. His stock will only rise as he puts muscle on. Presence in the box, displayed solid contact. Had no problem putting barrel on the ball with some pop. Where Spunde best stood out was on the bump using that tall, athletic frame to show off his three-pitch mix from the full wind up. Threw downhill, from a 3/4 slot, showed the ability to get the ball across the plate for strikes. A 2022 player with a max FB velo of 79 mph. Someone to watch as he gets more reps on the mound.
