2025 INF/OF Austin Boylan was one of the top-ranked prospects in attendance on Monday. Versatile player who can handle third base or second base but looks to excel more in the outfield where his speed plays a factor. Was up to 83mph from the outfield and 80mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with strength and works gap-to-gap with the ability to find them in-game against good arms. Posted the top exit velocity at the event at 94.0mph with a peak distance of 296ft. He was also one of just two players to post a sub-7 60-time at 6.99. A good all-around player who consistently make an impact on games he plays in.

Boylan continued to show why he is one of the top ‘25 bats in the country at OBJ Scout Day. a physical 5-foot-8, 185lbs frame with strength and power potential from the right side, Boylan has a quiet-to-explosive load as he crushed baseballs gap-to-gap. He’s cleaned it up on the infield as well, moving more athletically with more arm strength across the diamond with a 85 mph velo, as well. Boylan was a standout bat at multiple national events last year and he will look to continue more of the same here as we get closer to the 2023 season.

Boylan has consistently impressed each time we’ve seen him throughout the spring and early summer. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound 2025 shows a strong, stocky build that moves well. A 6.75runner and athletic actions in both the outfield and infield, Boylan’s arm shows off some carry from both positions working up to 82 in the OF. At the dish, Boylan has a strong, compact swing with some feel for the barrel and plenty of potential juice to all fields getting up to an 89 EV. During gameplay, Boylan sat on a breaking ball and took it to his backside gap. An overall impressive day for the young 2025 who will be an exciting watch as he continues to develop.

Boylan, 5-foot-7, 170-pounds, was a standout at the OBJ Scout Day earlier this month, and he continued to impress our staff at the Future Games Trials. In the field, he moves well with his strong, stocky build and has good footwork. He gets into his legs nicely and had an INF velo of 82 mph. At the dish, Boylan had one of the most consistent rounds on the day driving line drives to the big part of the ballpark with show hands through the zone and good extension as he finished the day with a top exit velo of 90 mph. With time to grow and add even more size, Boylan is a physical infielder that has a chance to be alright.
