Tyler Root: RHP/SS, (2021) Community Christian, OK. 6-foot, 180-pound lanky frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a compact load, then used a leg kick to initiate his swing. Has level swing plane, average bat speed and level finish. In his round he found some barrels. Line drive approach. Average showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 86 mph; had sure hands, a packing exchange and average footwork. Showed a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. Clocked a time of 7.25 in the 60-yard dash. Average on the mound, where he showed some arm speed, also used a long arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. Feel type pitcher who shows easy effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands soft with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 81-84 mph; keeps its plane. Shows gradual action on his 1/7 curveball (69-71). His changeup (70-71) had fading action.
