The 2023 RHP showed up to the Future Games with one of the more projectable frames and arms on Team Oklahoma. Standing at 6-foot-5 and 190-pounds, the frame and arm speed show what he is capable of being in the future and easily project him to become on of the better arms in the state in the 2023 class. The fastball worked in the mid 80’s on Saturday coming from a clean arm action and delivery. Bagwell really shows the ability to spin the ball with a low 70’s curveball with spin rates up to 2420 RPM. He also possesses a 75 mph changeup that is thrown with good hand speed and shows some fading action to the arm side. Bagwell has been on the big stage in the small school circuit in both the Fall and Spring seasons and will continue to be a guy to follow in the future.

Tallen Bagwell: RHP/OF, (2023) Roff, OK. 6-foot-4, 165-pound lean frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in a tall stance with a small load, then used a short stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed is above average, has upward swing plane and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 82 mph; has consistent feet, sure hands and a clean exchange. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.51 in the 60-yard dash. Advanced on the mound, where he showed quick arm speed, also used a long arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Feel type pitcher and shows some effort. Balance is tall point with even shoulders in his delivery. Lands open with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 83-86 mph; had running action and consistent control. His changeup (76-77) had some action and arm side command. He threw a 12/6 curveball (65-67).
