7/24/16 - Showed off his power by winning the home run derby, defeating Adell and Greene in the finals. Many of his homers weren’t cheap ones, either, including a few that left the park. Aside from his power, the Oklahoma State recruit also made an impressive run-through play in the game.
8/11/2015 - Showed good bat speed in BP, which translated to some hard-hit balls in game play. He went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two strikeouts. There is some whip to his swing and he squared up a double that had an exit velo of 105.8. He also showed off defensively, making a good play with soft hands on a slow chopper. His exchange was quick and clean and he got a strong throw off on the run.
