10/28/18 A 6-foot, 170-pound durable frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a short leg lift before gliding down the mound and finishing to the dish. Arm action is long in the back before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball has some downhill tilt at 75-77 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape and rolling action at 65-66 mph. In the game, showed developing command, but got weak contact when in the zone.
A durable 6-foot, 170-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a pigeon toed and slightly knock-kneed set-up with lots of wiggle in his hands. Uses a big, quick, and aggressive reverse toe-tap stride and slight hand pump load before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with more pop than his 79 mph exit velo would suggest, almost all barrels. Runs an 8.12 60. Defensively, makes plays cleanly with average hands and feet at first base. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with accuracy at 75 mph to second base.
