5-foot-10, 175-pound Wichita State commit, quick twitch catcher in the 2020 class. Offensively, the right-hander hits from a compact stance, using short stride and explosive lower half. Hands work well to and through the baseball, loud contact in BP with lots of barrels with lift to middle of the field. Not overmatched, simple, repetitive swing. In BP shows a gap to gap and mostly flat approach, 91 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.90 60. Defensively, receives baseball in low, strong athletic stance, glove works quiet to catch. Showed ability to block and recover the baseball, quick feet and acceleration. On throws down, shows quick transfer and feet, too quick at times, with spin to finish, ball delivered on left side of bag at 76 mph for showcase pop times of 1.95-2.04.
