A very lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame with long legs. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with a moderate leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and loose in the back before coming through a near over the top slot. Fastball sits 76-80 with run to the glove side and occasional cut to the glove side, some strikes late. Chageup shows some late cut at 69-70 mph, few strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with some late sweeping action at 64-65 mph. In the game, Jardine locked into the zone at the end of his second inning of work retiring the last three batters he faced punching out two of them.
