Began in a balanced stance with a quick compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick explosive, had a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Confident while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 75 mph; has soft sure hands, a clean natural exchange, and quick developing feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Using a short very quick arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the base from a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.28. Advanced on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a longer clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed athletic balance point and even in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1913; Avg 1862).
