Began in a balanced quiet stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was developing, used a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 83 mph; showed consistent feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1854; Avg 1719). Shows gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 2049; Avg 1912).
