Began in an open stance with a quick load, then used a toe tap stride. Had a short swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Confident in the infield, displayed a velocity of 60 mph; shows a natural exchange, fluid feet, and firm hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Capable on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a longer loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has in line shoulder with an consistent balance point. Lands closed with a clean finish. (Max spin 1928; Avg 1841).
