Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Has quick bat speed, simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 80 mph; shows consistent hands, choppy feet, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. On the mound, used a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2207; Avg 2097). His 1/7 curveball had some action. (Max spin 1970; Avg 1915). His 2/8 slider shows late action. (Max spin 2103; Avg 2061).
