Scouting Notes: High follow in 2022 class. 6-foot-4 southpaw with feel for the zone. Fastball works downhill and breaking ball was very sharp. Will mix well/using spin in any count. Flashed a changeup that looks to be a developing third offering. All physical signs point to that low 80s fastball gaining velo as he fills out that frame. Fastball: 79-82mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 1894-2057 Breaking Ball: 72-74mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1910-1966 Changeup: 70-71mph.

2/15/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Obvious projectability on the mound. 6-foot-4, left-hander with a physical frame and easy delivery. Arm works well. Should see increases over the next few years. Very interesting follow. Fastball: 77-79 mph. Easy velocity. Pitch works downhill. I’d set his high school velo floor at low 80s with a higher ceiling. Curveball: 60-62 mph. 1/7 shape, big action. Should sharpen up as velo jumps. Also spins a slider that was much tighter, controlling a different plane through the zone.
