Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Body Type: 5-foot-5, 170 pounds. Sturdy frame with room to grow.
Swing Mechanics: Starts from a balanced stance showing a slightly uphill stroke. Developing ability to engage lower half more efficiently.
Hit: Showed signs on barrel action in his round with an opposite field approach.
Power: 78 mph exit velocity. Power output was opposite field.
Offensive Projection: TBD for now.
Run: 8.42 seconds 60-yard. Field: Presented playable glovework as he fielded the baseball. Progressing on working it through it taking more momentum into his throws. Footwork is playable as with improve as he goes further into high school.

2/17/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-5, 170 pound sturdy frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Over rotates the top half with minimal lower half load. Arm is on-time at foot strike and delivers the ball from a ¾ arm slot.
Fastball: 62-67 mph.Filled up the zone with a fastball that stayed mostly straight.
Curveball: 56-57 mph.Filled the zone up. 11-5 shape, but still developing.
Changeup: 58-60 mph. Stayed mostly straight, but filled up the zone.
Pitchability: Filled the zone up with 3 pitches. Secondary offerings are developing.
Additional Comments: Needs to increase strength and movements for chance at increased velocity.
6/27/18 Two-way prospect. Smooth delivery on the bump. Uses a small leg lift prior to drop and drive load. Shorter arm action through a near over the top slot. Fills up the strike zone with both fastball and breaking ball. Fastball has some arm side action to it sitting 58-64 mph. Breaking ball works on an 11/5 plane with gradual action at 56-57 mph. At third base he plays under control with fluid footwork. Plays that ball out in front of his body with soft hands. Efficient sequence prior tossing it across the diamond with accuracy and developing strength. At the plate he uses a simple load followed by a slightly downhill stroke. Swing offers more present strength than speed through the zone. Compact swing in general with line drive abilities. 60-yard dash: 7.97 Infield Velocity: 58 Exit Velocity: 78
