8/7/16 5-foot-11, 173-pound impressively built prospect. Has a lot of things you can't teach. A versatile defender that has the ability to play both the outfield and the infield. At this stage he is more projectable as an outfield. Feet work well and he plays through the ball efficiently. Arm strength is an above average tool as he topped out at 86 mph to home plate. In the infield he has the glove skills to play second base and the arm strength to play on the left side. Looks to profile most at second base at this stage. Thew with 84 mph arm strength across the diamond. At the plate he has much more strength and batspeed than his 80 mph exit velocity would indicate. Has a nice, level path and ball comes off his bat well. A lead off type at this point with a lot of untapped juice in there once he learns to use his body more efficiently. Ran an impressive 4.12 from home to first. 6/15/16 5-foot-11, 173-pound athletic, muscular looking body frame. Has the ability to be a utility player, showing well enough defensively from both the infield and the outfield. From the infield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls, while continuing to play through the baseball. He uses a clean, short arm action through a ¾ slot, and reached a top velocity of 80 mph across the infield. In the outfield he uses good footwork to approach the baseball, fielding ground balls out near his front foot, glove side and continues to play through the baseball. He throws with a clean arm action, through an upper ¾ slot, reaching a top velocity of 84 mph with good carry. Left-handed hitter starts from a tall stance, using a little bit of effort to his swing. He loads with his hands moving toward his back shoulders, with the tendency to have a slight pause at the end. He swings with a flatter bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. He showed good strength in his round of batting practice, hitting a homerun to right field, and also hit a one hopper off the right center field fence. He reached a top exit velocity of 78 mph and ran a solid 6.81 60-yard dash.
