8/5/18 5-foot-10, 155-pound. Left-handed pitching prospect with a thin frame. Uses a quick tempo delivery with a chest high lift, works down the mound with level shoulders throwing slightly across the body. Fastball works out of the low 3/4 slot with regular cutting action at 70 to 73 mph. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with developing depth at 63 to 64 mph.
8/5/18 5-foot-10, 155-pound. Left-handed hitting outfield prospects. Begins upright and slightly open with the set up, toe tap to initiate the lower half. Slight forward tilt prior to launch with a downhill bat path, produced an exit velocity of 69 mph. Plays through the ball from the outfield, clean transfer with a presently below average arm top in at 71 mph. Also ran a 4.81 home to first.
7/2/18 Two-way prospect. On the mound the left-hander has athletic actions to a delivery that requires little effort. Drop and drive type guy that creates good direction down the hill. Quick, compact arm action through a near over the top slot. Impressed with his ability to fill up the zone with all three offerings. Fastball will show slight arm side action sitting 71-75 mph. Breaking ball is a quality offering, showing a slurvish shape at 62-64 mph. Slider is a similar pitch with a bit tighter shape at 63-64 mph. Really ;liked what I saw in the outfield. Obvious athleticism out there with fluid actions and the ability to get too and through the baseball quickly. Left field type with a loose arm that should have more strength in there. At the plate he starts in an athletic setup from the left side. A back leg swinger that takes an uphill path to contact. Presently offers a bit more speed than strength to hands. Showed pull side tendencies in BP. 60-yard dash: 7.74 Outfield Velocity: 71 Exit Velocity: 71
