Started in a wide strong stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled stride. Has above average bat speed, simple swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with some loud contacts. Gap to gap approach. Capable in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 68 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and fluid footwork. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Decent accuracy to the bag, used athletic slot with a short quick arm action. Solid on the mound, using a very quick short arm action he showed good arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who shows easy effort. Balance is tall point with a downhill shoulders in his delivery. Lands hard with recoil finish. (Max spin 1997; Avg 1926).
