On the mound the 6-foot-2, 265-pound prospect uses regular tempo. Utilizes small rocker step to the outside of his body and slight inward leg kick. Long arm path from a ¾ to high ¾ slot. Shows some quickness in his arm speed. Fastball sat at 80-81 mph. Curveball shows gradual 12/6 break. Tendency to slow down his arm speed with the pitch. Also mixes in a 70-72 mph straight change. A righty swinger with some pop. Takes his hands back to launch during his forward movement. Lower half is efficient and creates energy. Swings with intent to do damage. A more level path would let his power show more consistently. Defensively, he is a corner infielder that may project best at first base. Aggressive in his approach, but needs to improve foot speed. Throws from multiple angles. Typically uses long arm action from ¾ slot. Top velocity of 75 mph.

Accurate with throws across the diamond.
6/23/15
6-foot-1, 220-pound thick body frame. From the infield he has pretty good footwork approaching ground balls, but could be more aggressive playing through the baseball. He throws using a clean, short arm action coming from a ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 70 mph. Right-handed hitter starts from a spread out stance, and lifts his foot up and comes straight down for a short stride. He uses a fluid hands back load and swings with a level bat path through the zone. He finishes with a one-handed follow through, while reaching a top exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran a 4.97 out of the batter’s box, down the line to first base. On the mound his delivery requires some effort. He lands open at foot strike, finishing with his momentum carrying towards home plate. He throws using average arm speed through a ¾ slot. His fastball was between 72-75 mph. He needed to stay on top more and find a consistent release point on his curveball between 55-61 mph with gradual break at an 11/5 plane. He threw his changeup using fastball arm speed at 63-64 mph.
