A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Body Type: 6-foot-4, 195-pound very projectable frame. Hit: Wiry strong bat with well above average bat speed. Looks cleaner movement wise everytime we see him. Ball jumps off barrel and he has natural lift to both gaps. Power: 90.1 mph off the bat in BP. Potential for even more as he fills out frame. One of the louder BPs we saw on the day. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Field: In the outfield he plays with good tempo and above average ball skills. Times feet well for a fluid play through and easy momentum into release. Throw: Arm is an above average tool. Ball comes out well. Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 190-pound thin and athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Fluid load that engages the lower half. Hit: Uphill bat path that produces backspin when he gets inside the baseball. Power: Natural tools are there. Gap guy with much more to come. Offensive Projection: Run producer potential. Field: Plays with aggressive feet in his approach. Ball skills are on par for class. Played cleanly throughout his round. Throw: Above average strength. Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 190-pound physical frame with more room to add. Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance with a leg kick timing trigger and quiet hands. Hit: Path plays an ball jumps. Ran into contact often in BP with backspin to both gaps. Unique swing but ball flies off barrel. Power: 93 mph exit velocity. Can leave the park presently. Nice combination of burst and barrel accuracy. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Run: 4.28 H-1st. Field: Raw but moves well out there. Ball skills are developing. Throw: Showed 88 mph arm strength to home plate. Big arm. Ball jumps out of hand with carry. Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots in Outfield. Additional Comments: One of the more improved players physically we saw over the winter. Somewhat raw on both sides of the ball but he’s explosive with some tools for sure.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Goes with a small leg kick to get things going. Hands stay quiet prior to launch. Bat travels on a mostly level path to the baseball showing twitch to his hands. Natural tools are adequate presently but far from ceiling. Much more pop to come as he adds strength. Plays fast in the outfield, using aggressive feet. Would like to see play more under control at times to ensure ball security. Frame and arm likely puts him in the corners at the next level. Frame and tools should make him attractive to college coaches.
