10/03/20
Scouting Notes: Good athlete on the mound with a liver arm. Fastball was in the upper 70s with signs of more to come and the breaking ball was very sharp. Looked the part as a position player but with that performance on the mound he should be considered a two-way option. Very impressive showing. Fastball: 77-81mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 1736-1939rpm. Breaking Ball: 67-70mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1967-2171rpm.
10/03/20
Hit:Upright setup from the right side. More than respectable tools in the box. Well above average rotational acceleration abilities according to blast. Ball jumps when squared. Very physical round with a top exit velocity of 91mph. Power:Gap abilities. Offensive Projection:Middle of lineup. Field:Uses good tempo in his approach and plays through with confident pace/above average ball skills. Throw:Respectable strength that should add with maturity. Defensive Projection:Multiple Spots.
2/16/20
2/16/20 Position Player Hit: One of the more impressive BPs we came across on the day. Physical dude with above average bat speed. Ball comes off bat well. Tools are above average across the board for class. Definite 2022 to follow who has a chance to be dynamic. Power: 86 mph tee exit velocity, easy gap pop, should grow into at least occasional power. Offensive Projection: Run producer. Field: Worked out in both the infield and outfield. With his athleticism and arm strength you could label him a utility guy but tools showed best in the outfield. Throw: 78 mph across the diamond and 83 mph from the outfield, arm works no reason why he shouldn’t add velocity down the road. Defensive Projection: OF.
2/16/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Fluid delivery, rolling through a chest-high leg lift into drop and drive loading sequence. Solid direction with a finish in line to home plate. Athleticism shows on the bump. When everything comes together could be a higher velocity guy. Fastball: 77-81 mph, mostly true, pitch works downhill Breaking Ball: 63-68 mph, gradual action with big shape, mostly 11/5 plane, more of a “get me over” offering at present. Changeup: 68-69 mph, quality fade, decent sell.

The breaker displays gradual, big break at a 10/4 path. The secondary offering has room for development with potential to be a solid second offering.
