Scouting Notes: 6-foot-1 mound prospect that works through a sidearm slot. Showed feel for the slot that creates natural run on the fastball. Also spins in a solid slider that pairs well with the pitch. Tossed a ton of ground balls throughout his outing.
Fastball: 70-73mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1628-1903.
Breaking Ball: 62-64mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1770-1926.
6-foot-1, 198-pound body frame. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery landing in a straight line at foot strike with his momentum carrying toward the plate. Throws with average arm speed coming through a side arm slot. Fastball has some arm-side run to it at 68-69 mph topping out at 70 mph. Breaking ball is thrown on an 11/5 plane with good depth at 59-61 mph.

Delivery Notes: Uncommon quick side arm delivery with short arm action.
Fastball: Presents a lot of run that looks like a 2-seam but will also run across the body occasionally sitting around 72-75mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1782-1904
Slider: Great second pitch coming across the same arm slot with hard bite when it reaches out in front of the plate at 66-68mph.
Slider Spin Rate: 1865-1937
Changeup: Shows great depth with late sink at 70-71mph
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 205-pound average build
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Quick tempo delivery that is repeatable and deceptive. Uses a long arm action working through a low-3/4 slot.
Fastball: At 74-75 mph the fastball is mostly straight with occasional run and sink to the arm side.
Curveball: Breaking ball has a slurvy shape with a short/late 11/5 break at 65-68 mph.
Changeup: Changeup is thrown with fastball like arm action. The pitch has late sink and run at 69-70 mph.
Pitchability: Good feel for all three offerings. Changeup is advanced for his age, breaking ball shows potential.
