A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Utilizes a toe turn load to get lower half involved. Barrel maintains rhythm through load into launch using a bat tip movement. A strong kid with feel for the barrel. Showed the ability to work to both gaps with impressive jump off the bat. Does a nice job of balancing intent and control in swing. Impressive round of BP. In the infield he reacts well off the bat, showing a quick first step. Inside funnel he tends to play from heels, fielding the baseball in the middle of his body. Actions appear much more athletic/fluid on the move. Glove/arm both play as adequate tools for class. His most natural position looks to be behind the dish. Actions are fluid and mechanically sound. Gets out of his crouch well and maintains direction throughout catch and throws process. Solid defender with an above average skill set across the board.

5-foot-10, 160-pound average build. Possible two way prospect. On the mound, he shows some rhythm in his delivery. Shows good direction to the plate throughout his delivery. Shows a long arm action into a high ¾ slot with average arm speed. Three pitch mix with the fastball sitting 74-76 mph. Curveball sits 64-65 mph with 11/5 break. Changeup sits 62-63 with some sink. At the plate the right-hander took an impressive round of batting practice. Has a very fast bat and does a good job of staying flat through the zone. Has big time pull-side pop. Would like to see him transfer more weight into contact. Exit velocity was 84 mph with much more left in the tank and he ran a 4.97 from home to first. Behind the plate he started in an athletic crouch and did a good job of getting his shoulders square to second base. Pop times ranged from 2.09-2.13 with 70 mph arm strength to second base.
