8/04/19

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 175-pound athletic frame.
Hit: Athletic bat from the left side. Stays balanced throughout swing. Fast bat with heavy hands through contact. Showed authority to pull side in BP.
Power: Gap abilities. 91.9 off the bat in BP. Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Athletic kid with thump.
Field: Looks the part in the outfield. Fluid, athletic actions with good rhythm.
Throw: Arm is really clean/ball jumps out of hand.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Uptempo southpaw with a well synced delivery. Drop and drive type guy with direction/energy down the mound. Arm works well. Should have more velo in the tank as he adds strength with maturity. Three pitch lefty who can really pitch.
Fastball: 79-81 mph. Pounds the zone with the pitch, working both sides of the plate. 2000-2200 spin rate guy with low 90s efficiency.
Curveball: 69-70 mph. Really spins it well. 1/7 big shape with hard, late bite. Well above average offering with present swing/miss to it.
Changeup: Above average offering as well. Maintains arm speed on the offering that has late fading action.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.

1/26/19

Body Type: 5-foot-11 170-pounds, average build.
Swing Mechanics:
Good on plane bat path. Uses a leg kick load. Showed strong wrists and good barrel control.
Hit: Found the barrel well. Showed a linedrive approach with ability to drive the ball the other way.
Power:
81 mph. Minimal raw power currently still some physical projectability that could help improve the power potential.
Offensive Projection:
Remains to be seen. Physically projectable still so projection in many ways depends on ability to add strength.
Run:
4.47 home to 1st
Field:
Played through the ball well in the OF. Aggressive and confident attacking the ball.
Throw:
80 mph. Showed a quick arm with decent carry. Threw 81 mph from the OF.
Defensive Projection:
Currently more of a corner OF type.

1/26/19

Body Type: 5-foot-11 170-pound prospect with room to add strength to an athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Quick tempo delivery, uses regular effort. Level shoulders working in-line through stride. Uses a long arm action through a ¾ slot.
Fastball: 75-77 mph fastball shows consistent cutting action at the bottom of the zone.
Curveball: 62-64 mph curveball with tight spin. Works on a 1/7 tilt, shows some bite. Occasional loop, should develop into swing and miss pitch.
Changeup: 65-68 mph changeup is throw with good arm speed. The pitch has some late run through the zone.
Pitchability: Very good feel for all three offerings. Breaking ball looks like a solid out pitch and will only get better.
Role: Starter. Good frame and projects for more velocity in the future. Feel for both secondary offerings with breaking ball likely being above average or better.
