6-foot-1, 200-pound two-way prospect. All around solid prospect. On the mound, he sat at 78-80 mph through a ¾ arm slot. Fastball shows excellent natural cutting action. Showed ability to come in on right-handers and away on left-handers with the pitch. Also used a 67-69 mph breaking ball with late 1/7 break out of the same tunnel. Struck out five of six hitters that he faced. Fills up the strike zone. Defensively, he shows well around first base. Good reactions and awareness. At the plate, he starts from a balanced, athletic stance. Uses a leg kick in his stride. Good use of his lower half. Uphill path to the ball. Line drive production with pull power. The ball jumped off his bat. Registered top exit velocity of 88 mph off the tee. Ran a 4.59 out of the box.
Storer is a definite follow in the Class of 2014. The left-hander has a solid frame. He uses a high 3/4 arm slot and quick, short arm action. His fastball shows natural cutting action and sits between 79-81 mph. His 70-73 mph curveball lacked consistency and effective break. He showed a good feel for a firm 74-76 mph changeup.
