Steve Michniak: OF/2B, (2022) Streetsboro, OH. 5-foot-9, 150-pound. Capable during batting practice, Michniak clocked an exit velocity of 82 mph. Began in an open stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was average, and displayed a level swing plane. Through his round he found some barrels. Line drive approach. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 76 mph; has a natural exchange, quick choppy feet, and firm hands. Clocked a time of 7.31 in the 60-yard dash.

Also worked out in the infield. Plays with a relaxed tempo throughout process. Not flashy but appears to be sure-handed. Throw:Clean arm, accurate thrower, more strength to come. Defensive Projection:LF/2B.

2/12/20 Position Player Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Goes with a back load to hands during knee pinch timing trigger. Loose, whippy stroke that travels on a mostly downhill path to contact. Low line drive to ground ball flight in BP. Found the barrel often. Power:Line drive pop. Offensive Projection:Table Setter. Top BP Rapsodo Exit Velocity:78 Top BP Rapsodo Distance: 105 Field:In the outfield he plays with quick feet, getting too and through the baseball in a timely fashion. Ball skills are more than serviceable. Also worked out in the infield. Although he appears slightly more natural in the outfield he has the look of a guy who you could throw in at second, maybe even third base and he would get the job done. Throw:Compact, clean arm through a high-3/4 slot coming from the right side. Defensive Projection:Multiple Spots.
