Steve Lauterbach: 3B/OF, (2024) Oakwood, OH. 5-foot-11, 190-pound sturdy athletic build. Advanced projectable during batting practice, Lauterbach displayed an exit velocity of 95 mph, Ranks #1 with EV at the event. Begins in an open stance with a slow controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed is explosive, displays a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Advanced while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 82 mph; had athletic consistent footwork, a quick clean exchange, and next level hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Using a short very quick arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the base from a high ¾ slot.
